Novelty Cake Saturday 5th April 10.30am - 3.30pm

Learn to carve, shape and decorate your own novelty dragon cake!

In this class hosted by Janice B's in Hedge End and taught by our fabulous and experienced tutor, Julie Hancock,  you will  learn how to accurately cut your sponge cake and fill with jam and buttercream, shaping as required, and crumb coating, before moulding the details of a novelty cake in sugar paste,  and covering with brightly coloured sugar paste.  Julie will teach you how to pipe details in buttercream and to accentuate specific features using colours, sprays and lustres.  You will also learn how to make sugarcraft accessories and models to enhance the cake. Throughout the class, Julie will share lots of top tips and insider techniques and will of course answer all your questions.
