Let’s get baking!! Rachel’s Apron and I are delighted to announce that our next Afternoon Tea Baking class, will take place on Saturday 30th March, 12.30 – 4.30pm.
In this class you will learn to bake perfect, buttery shortbread, try your hand at choux pastry with raspberry eclairs, get to grips with iced lemon fondants and master the all important “macaronage” for a coconut, dark chocolate and lime macaron.
The class will comprise of a mixture demonstrations from Gaye Perry of The Real Macaron Company and Rachel Grenville–Hunt of Rachel’s Apron, professionally trained at the Ashburton Cookery School in Devon, and of a hands-on cookery workshop.
The 4-hour class will cover a range of baking skills, boosting your confidence and inspiring you to increase your baking repertoire. Places will be limited to six per class to ensure everyone receives plenty of one-on-one advice and encouragement.
When all is baked, we invite you to sit down, relax and enjoy a cup of tea whilst sampling your baked delights. The added bonus is that there will still be plenty to take home and share with friends and family.
The class will be held at Macaron House in Newbury – a perfect space for a relaxing and inspiring class.
Places are limited so do book soon. At only £75 per person, this really is a baking class not to be missed!
