Who can not be inspired by Italian cuisine? My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Rome. So much to see, do and taste, you know that you want to return long before you leave. So I am now working on this month’s flavour – Tiramisù. Tiramisu which translates as “pick me up” or “lift me up” is a delicious Italian dessert. It is made of Savoiardi biscuits dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone cheese, and flavoured with Marsala and cocoa. This promises to be a very special, real macaron flavour.
